"Las Comadres de Las Comadres"
La comadre is a very special mujer! One that through culture, friendship, common interest, and purpose is a true amiga or sister. Imagine over 7,000 comadres across the Americas meeting every month to build community, learn and laugh together, and expand their professional network.
Over 25 years ago, Nora Comstock had a vision: Latinas could support and uplift each other like our beloved comrades. Joining her in this work is Maria Ferrer who in the tradition of passing leadership to the next generation will be leading Las Comadres in the future.
